Be Careful:  If you come here you will grow!

A Note From Fr. Michael
7 February 2019

Dear Folks:

I’m not going anywhere because …  That was the continuous refrain from last Sunday’s Annual Meeting of the Parish.  With an agenda of three major items, we first elected the Vestry class of 2021.  Robert Shaw, Elizabeth McAnulty, and Susan Sachs were elected to a three-year term as parish trustees.  They join the six other members of our Vestry: Bonnie Katusich, Joe Bianca, Julie Flahive (Class of 2020), Betty Snow, Steve Bailey, and Fran Kidder (Class of 2019).  For the first time in recent memory, St. Philip’s has a full Vestry roster with three sequential classes of leaders.  As I said at the meeting, I am not only grateful to all our Vestry for serving; I am particularly proud of the fact that our community has stepped up and regularized our elected parish leadership.
